This last week Blue Tent Marketing had our final meeting with our CPA to wrap up the 2009 end of year tax picture. I would assume many of you are at that point in the year as well. Both my CPA and I laughed at the nightmare of the old days of doing business when we used to have to send him a back up Quick Books file…..then NOT work on it for a few days while he got everything he needed from our business records. Now with our SaaS online business software, my CPA can log onto to our company financials from anywhere (which means he gets to spend more time on the golf course!) and it also means that Blue Tent does not have to wait a few days before we resume our accounting and bookkeeping process. It has been amazing to me every year how the business software we get from Netsuite allows our small company more and more efficiencies. I hope that your end of year tax process goes well and lets all hope that 2010 is better than 2009!
