I remember the nightmares of times past when you used to go into a black hole of financial and project quite when you would leave the office. This is especially true now when while its always great to get away from the office, shutting down is not possible. Cash flow is king these days for our business and it seems like every day we are dealing with decisions on client accounts for slow payment etc. To have access to our business accounting software from anywhere, this allows me to spend a small amount of time on accounts, but make a big impact. For example we have a client in NYC who is getting pinched by slow paying clients on their side and thus they have to work with us on a payment plan to stay current. Currently I am on the road for two weeks. One week of vacation and then a sales trip for the next week. This is a lot of time to be out, but with my access to our ERP, CRM and accounting software via the web, I can now take these types of trips and not get back to the dreaded black hole of yesteryear. Now I can be on the road, stay in touch with the company and know that if we need to make any hard customer decisions, we have the business accounting software to help us do this quickly and from anywhere!
