Mid July - Accounting Software Thoughts

By: peter@bluetent.com Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - 9:53am

I can't believe it's already close to the middle of July.  As this summer continues to move into full swing business at blue tent continues to do well.  Just last week our director of sales and I headed to the outer banks of North Carolina.  This story should resonate well with other NetSuite users.  The nightmares of not having access to your data and company information is now days of old.  The way that our business Accounting Software allows me to continue to have a leadership and fundamental role in hard decisions even while being on the road has allowed on blue tent many advantages over our competition.  For example, Jay our vice president of operations and lead NetSuite user can send me reports and give me access to real-time company information including sales, projects, accounts payable, and line of credit needs all while I am on the road making a new sales.  Some of the key performance indicators that we keep our close the eye on include: current income to date, current sales to date, payables, credit card balance, closed won opportunity's and the number of total open opportunities.  These key metrics, all accessible through the cloud and through NetSuite allow us the freedom to travel and look for new business while knowing that are key business objectives are being met.
